What gets you up in the morning? It's a fresh day; you roll out of bed, ready to start your day. How do you feel? What are your thoughts? Are they: Let's get started. It's a beautiful day! Or, damn, it's Monday, I hate my day, I hate this week, I would rather be "X"!
If the former is you, keep reading! But first, please hit that thumbs up and comment on what gets you up in the morning; we would love to hear from you!
What distinguishes waking in dread from waking with a lust for life? CLARITY. The number one criterion for relishing life rather than cringing at the day ahead is waking with a clear mind and a day with clearly defined and attainable goals: a good life balance of work, family, and play.
Want to know a secret key to obtaining clarity of mind without investing thousands in self-help books or seeking professional help? It is a technique that anyone can use and is so powerful it can transform your nervous, fearful, and worry-ridden self to one of being so free in the heart that life becomes a path of bliss, no matter what life throws at you.
The Secret Power Within You is Your Awareness!
Yes, an awareness of the self that sits apart from your thinking, feeling, and dreaming self, and a part of you that can become day by day more and more aware of the life within and around you that it can even transform your individual being and becoming one with the being of the Universe.
Let the dreamer awake, feed your soul: read the full story here!
More Than Relaxation: A Path to the Divine
Today, many sites and apps offer meditation as a relaxation and stress-reduction tool. Contrarily, it was never intended for simple relaxation by the cultures that discovered and refined it. These cultures refined meditation practice to transport the practitioner inwards on a path to the divine.
Please post in the comments how it goes and what you experience; yes, the intellect can throw up all kinds of emotions; it believes it is your protector, so like a cornered animal, it can retaliate, and it does so with emotions. Acceptance, patience, and a little grace will let the light shine through. The important thing is, don't identify with the feelings and thoughts your intellect will bring up, and step back from your thoughts to guide you to who you are.
